Microwave...Day 4

Objectives:
By the end of today's lesson:
--you will understand how to use a microwave safely.

Instructions:
1. Locate the textbook, Adventures in Food and Nutrition. Read pages 118-120 (start at "Microwave Oven Safety"). Also, study the FACT SHEET (click on "FACT SHEET") at the end of this activity.



2. Go back to mygradebook.com and locate the Microwave Safety Test and take it. You must make a 100 on this quiz to cook because it is a safety test. So study any mistakes you make and retake the quiz.
3. It is time for an experiment. Go to the blue milkcrate and get the worksheet from the microwave folder called "Investigating Microwaves". Follow the instructions and complete the worksheet.

4. Complete any unfinished work from the previous days' activities.
5. Clean up and organize your module area.
