Microwave....Day 5

Today's Objectives:
By the end of today's class, you will be:
--prepared to cook in the foods lab during the next class period
--have an idea of what the future of microwaves will be.

Instructions:
1. First, you should have already taken the Microwave posttest on mygradebook.com. If you have not done so, go back to mygradebook.com and complete it. The posttest does count as part of your grade.
2. Locate an Upcoming Events sheet in the blue milkcrate. Below, you will find the recipe for what you will cook tomorrow in the foods lab. Using the recipe for guidance, complete the worksheet in complete sentences. Give the worksheet to your instructor when you are done.


3. Locate the textbook, Adventures in Food and Nutrition, and turn to page 121. Read about the future of microwaves.
4. Brainstorm! On the worksheet you have been using for the microwave module:
--summarize the article and what the future of the microwave might be.
--what is your reaction to that future.
--do some Internet research about the future of the microwave and report your findings.
5. Complete any unfinished work from the previous days' activities.
6. Clean up and organize your module area.
